Becky Huang

User Experience Designer

Mobile Specialist
Becky’s skillset spans the range from user interface design to project management and user advocacy. She delights in designing interfaces that really work for users, including for Dayspring’s Goodbudget household financial software division. She loves making sure that Goodbudget makes sense to users and that it’s set up for the way that they want to budget.

Becky previously worked at a lab mapping genes of a cute little plant called Arabidopsis, as a part of a research project investigating the effect of UV-B light. Having spent a lot of time talking to tiny plants, talking to real people is a welcome change.

Becky graduated from UC Berkeley, majoring in History and Integrative Biology. Besides eating copious amounts of ice cream, she enjoys running, playing with her dog, and folding clothes.

I love when Goodbudget users realize that we’re real people and not robots.  Like when they’re pleasantly caught off guard that somebody picks up the phone within 3 rings when they’re expecting some machine to tell them to press 1 for English.

It’s how we do business. Person to person.
